The restoration of the 18 listed buildings is taking place at different paces. In case of the Franciscan church, it started with an assessment of the state of its interior. The restorers removed the benches to a workshop. Until their return, symbolic installations remind us of the sacral character of the place. Once the restoration is complete, the church will reopen to the faithful as home for the liturgy and the Blessed Sacrament.
